China Eastern Airlines selects Sabre Airline Solutions system

China Eastern Airlines has selected Sabre Airline Solutions' AirFlite Schedule Manager to manage its flight schedules.

The new multi-user scheduling solution will improve the carrier's profitability across all regional, short-haul and long-haul routes, due to its comprehensive tools that help accomplish specific scheduling tasks during all stages of the schedule development process.

The new solution - based on an Oracle/Java platform - will also allow senior management to evaluate strategic scenarios such as fleet planning, codeshare partners and new destinations, according to Sabre Airline Solutions.
