Cathay Pacific Airways resumes services to Beijing

Cathay Pacific Airways has resumed its flights to Beijing, China, following a 13-year break.

The airline launched the service to the Chinese mainland today (2 December), and will serve the route with departing flights from Hong Kong every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, while return flights will run on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

The new flights - which give the carrier 3% of the market - will be flown using Airbus A330 aircraft.
