John Wayne Airport in southern California has formed an agreement with Megadata Corp for its PASSUR AirportMonitor system.
The airport selected the Internet flight tracking and information system after residents, communities and customers requested information regarding its terminal airspace. The system - integrated on the airport's web site - offers near-real time data and instant reply capabilities, and provides an interactive display of air traffic and flight information in and around the terminal airspace.
A total of ten airports across the US now operate the AirportMonitor system.
