Singapore Airlines flight attendant diagnosed with SARS

A Singapore Airlines flight attendant has been diagnosed with the new pneumonia virus.

The flight attendant had travelled on a flight from New York to Singapore with a stopover in Frankfurt, Germany, with an infected doctor on 15 March 2003. The Singaporean doctor was removed from the flight in Germany, along with his pregnant wife and mother-in-law.

According to the airline, the woman has a fever and has been classed as a probable case of severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS), reported The Associated Press.
