Bahrain's Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has reviewed its contingency plans to prepare for a US-led war on Iraq.
The CAA has also tightened security and baggage clearance procedures, and Bahrain's Minister of Transportation, Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, has said that all support will be extended to airlines operating out of Bahrain International Airport.
The CAA is looking at offering airlines operating out of Bahrain an incentive package of concessional landing, parking and navigation fees and holding down fuel prices, according to the Bahrain Tribune.
