Finnish airline Finnair Oyj said on Monday (26 May) that it would cut three weekly flights on the Helsinki-Bangkok route and also onward flights from Bangkok to Singapore and Hong Kong in June.

The airline said that the demand for the Bangkok route was weak for June but the daily flights would be resumed in July.

The route to Osaka would be launched at the beginning of June and plans for opening the Shanghai route were going ahead, according to the company.

Finnair said that there would also be three weekly flights to Tokyo during the summer months instead of the normal two flights.
