US Airways asks Pittsburgh airport to reduce debt

US Airways reportedly wants Pittsburgh International Airport to reduce about USD500m of its outstanding debt.

The airline, which rejected its leases at the airport just before emerging from bankruptcy in March, is also asking for about USD155m in improvements to the airport.

The airline accounts for about 80% of the traffic at the airport, reported Reuters.
