Northwest Airlines has decided to remove its fares from Cendant Corp's Cheap Tickets web site due to a dispute over how the airfares are displayed.
According to a spokesperson for Northwest Airlines, the two companies had been in talks for several weeks over how the airline's fare would appear relative to preferred carriers when customers search the online travel site.
Although part of the dispute was resolved, the carrier was still opposed to a schedule bias and has decided to remove its fares from the site, reported Reuters.
