American Eagle to open maintenance facility at Northwest Arkansas airport

American Eagle is planning to open a new maintenance facility at Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport.
The new facility is expected to employ about 60 full-time mechanics who will perform "line" maintenance, or routine overnight maintenance and repair or replacement of parts, on the carrier's fleet of CRJ-700 aircraft.
American Eagle will take occupancy of the new facility in January 2004, with the first maintenance scheduled in March 2004.
