Virgin Atlantic aircraft aborts flight due to threatening note

A Virgin Atlantic aircraft reportedly returned to New York's John F. Kennedy Airport today (21 November) after a threatening note was found on board.
The aircraft had departed from the airport bound for London, UK but returned about an hour and a half later when a threatening note was found on a seat in the aircraft. Information on the contents of the note have not been disclosed.
The more than 250 passengers on the flight were evacuated and rescreened, while a search using canine unites was conducted on the aircraft.
The FBI is currently investigating the incident, reported The Associated Press.
