Northwest Airlines expands its coach cabin meals to additional flights

Northwest Airlines has expanded its coach cabin meals for sale programme to 199 domestic flights, up from 135.

The programme, initially launched on 15 January 2003 on 12 flights, will be expanded to 14 new locations and will become a regular part of the carrier's in-flight service. The meals, produced by LSG Sky Chefs "In-flight Cafe", can be purchased for USD7 for breakfast and USD10 for lunch and dinner.

Northwest Airlines will also begin selling snack boxes for USD5, which will include a freshly prepared snack sandwich, potato chips, raisins, and a package of cookies.
