Elderly woman prompts fighter jets to escort American Airlines flight

Fighter jets were scrambled to an American Airlines flight yesterday (25 November) after an elderly woman became disruptive.
The pilot of the aircraft reportedly announced an emergency shortly after the flight had departed from Miami International Airport as a precautionary measure after the woman aged between 69 and 79 became disruptive. Two fighter jets escorted the flight back to the airport, where it landed safely.
The flight was carrying 126 passengers bound for Caracas, reported Reuters.
