German airline offers free carriage for Christmas trees

Hapag-Lloyd is offering its German passengers spending Christmas aboard the option to take their Christmas tree with them for free.
The carrier has said that it will transport trees for free as long as they are under 6ft 6ins tall and are wrapped in netting or plastic.
Customers are not required to pre-book a reservation for their tree.
