A pilot crashed his ultra-light aircraft in trees near the A11 motorway in Germany after departing from Bernau airfield.
The pilot reportedly escaped with only minor injuries and informed staff at Bernau about the crash. However, staff at the airport did not call police until 0900 local time the following day, leaving the aircraft hanging in a group of trees overnight.
