A Delta Shuttle aircraft was diverted yesterday (1 October) after a light indicated a problem with the aircraft's hydraulic system.
Shortly before the Boeing 737-300 aircraft was scheduled to land at LaGuardia airport the pilot noticed the indicator light and decided to divert the aircraft to New York's John F. Kennedy Airport where the runways are longer.
The aircraft landed safely, and all passengers were offered the option of ground service to LaGuardia.
