A 78-year-old man has been charged with twice attempting to board an aircraft at Bradley International Airport with a box cutter.

The Florida man was reportedly preparing to board a Delta Air Lines flight to Tampa, Fla., when security officials found a box cutter in his luggage. He was advised to leave the box cutter behind or mail it home, but allegedly returned to the airline checkpoint with the box cutter in his shoe.
