Federal investigators reportedly discovered USD20,000 worth of cocaine on an Avianca flight from Colombia to Miami.

The cocaine was discovered in 51 bags of peanuts during a routine search of the aircraft by a drug-sniffing dog. No passengers on the flight from Barranquilla, Colombia ate any of the peanuts that held a total of 1.17 kilograms of the drug.

Officials are currently attempting to determine who loaded the peanuts on the aircraft and where they came from, according to The Associated Press.
