SkyWest Airlines places order with Bombardier for 30 aircraft

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2003 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
SkyWest Airlines has reportedly placed a firm order for 30 70-seat Bombardier regional jet aircraft.
The aircraft are expected to be delivered from January 2004 and deliveries will continue through to May 2005. The contract also includes options for another 80 aircraft that can be delivered in either 70- or 90-seat configuration.
The aircraft will be used for SkyWest Airlines' United Express operations.
