AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2003 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport held an auction on Saturday (20 September) of items left behind at the airport over the past ten years.
Items from the airport's Lost & Found section included more than 150 cameras, hundreds of bracelets, rings, necklaces and earrings, and watches, laptop computers, 15 Discmans, 60 mobile phones, 25 pagers, camcorders, binoculars, calculators and Palm Pilots.
The auction also included equipment no longer needed by the Wayne County Airport Authority, such as Ford Explorers, Jeep Grand Cherokees, Ford Tauruses, golf carts and a variety of copiers, computer monitors, typewriters, office furniture and tools.
