American Trans Air flight makes emergency landing

An American Trans Air flight made an emergency landing yesterday (3 September) after experiencing problems with its landing gear.

The Boeing 757 aircraft had been travelling from Chicago to Boston with 180 passengers and crew members on board when it experienced a problem with its right main landing gear. However, the aircraft landed safety at Logan International Airport.

The cause of the problem is currently unclear, according to The Associated Press.
