A Northwest Airlines passenger accused of passing a threatening note to a young child has pleaded guilty to interfering with a flight crew.

The 27-year-old and three Dutch colleagues were arrested at Memphis International Airport in June 2003 after members of a Northwest Airlines flight crew said they were threatened by the men. Charges against the three Dutch men were dropped.

The man, who has admitted passing the note to the child, faces a maximum punishment of 20 years imprisonment and a USD250,000 fine. He is scheduled to be sentenced in December.
