Connexion by Boeing and NTT DoCoMo sign memorandum of understanding

In-flight Internet services provider Connexion by Boeing has signed a memorandum of understanding with Japanese mobile communications company NTT DoCoMo Inc for an associate service provider agreement.
Under the agreement the Connexion by Boeing high-speed Internet service would become available to NTT DoCoMo's mZone wireless LAN service users. The availability is expected to begin around August 2004, Connexion by Boeing said.
The two parties will also explore linking their networks and will consider jointly developing new in-flight wireless services for international passengers.
No financial terms were revealed.
