AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2004 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
United Airlines has launched a sale for travel this spring to destinations throughout the US and across the globe. Tickets must be purchased by 18 April 2004 for domestic, Caribbean and Canadian destinations and by 14 April 2004 for all other international destinations. Travel may commence as early as 13 April 2004. Further information is available at http://www.united.com.
Skyway Airlines is reportedly holding discussions with Delta Air Lines on operating the Fairchild 328JET fleet of Delta Connection aircraft. Atlantic Coast Airlines currently provides the service, but it will phase out its 328JET operations later this year.
Continental Airlines is offering new low fares for BusinessFirst travel to Europe and for first class flights from its US hubs to selected US destinations. The airline's web site - http://www.continental.com - is said to offer the best possible price. Travellers who find a fare for the same flight, itinerary and cabin that is more than USD10 lower will receive the price difference plus a USD100 Electronic Travel Certificate.
Northwest Airlines has launched a Spring/Summer Fare Sale offering discounted fares on travel throughout the US, and from the US to Asia, Canada and Europe. The tickets must be purchased by 18 April 2004, with travel on domestic flights valid between 20 April and 16 June 2004. Travel to Asia is valid between 13 April and 29 May 2004, while European travel must take place between 20 April and 29 May 2004.
