Palwaukee Municipal Airport in Illinois is reportedly considering increasing the weight limit of aircraft using the facility.
Officials are reconsidering the weight limit as aircraft are becoming quieter and safer. The airport's weight limit now is 77,000 pounds, but some jet aircraft using the airport - such as the Gulfstream 5 and Global Express - are heavier.
It has been suggested that the airport's weight line should be increased to 98,000 pounds to accommodate the newer aircraft.
