Experts are trying to pinpoint why the baggage handling system at Hong Kong International Airport ground to a halt on Tuesday (24 August).

A problem in the computer network switch apparently caused the system to shut down for about four hours, delaying 31 flights.

Technicians and computer experts conducted a test on Wednesday (25 August), during which the system was shut down for about 10 minutes, reports The Standard.
