AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2004 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
German-based Fraport AG Frankfurt Airport Services Worldwide has entered into an agreement with Florida's Jacksonville Airport to establish a subsidiary for offering ground handling services. The new subsidiary, located at Jacksonville Airport, is planned to go into operation later this year.
Delta Connection is to increase its service to Fort Lauderdale, Fla. from nine destinations in the US South and Midwest from 1 December 2004. Delta Connection carrier Chautauqua Airlines will add nonstop flights between Fort Lauderdale and Birmingham, Ala.; Charleston, S.C.; Dayton, Ohio; Greensboro, N.C.; Norfolk, Va.; Louisville, Ky.; Pensacola, Fla.; Raleigh/Durham, N.C. and Richmond, Va.
