Swedish low-cost airline FlyMe Europe AB, owned by Swedish investment company Array AB, said on Friday (27 August) that it had signed a contract with the Spanish-based global distribution system (GDS) and technology provider Amadeus Global Travel Distribution for the distribution of travel booking and services.

Under the agreement, travel agencies and companies could book FlyMe's tickets through the system from the end of September 2004 onwards.

The company said that the distribution agreement would complement its Internet booking system, as 90% of Swedish business travel is booked through Amadeus.
