Indonesian airline Garuda Indonesia is to lease 12 aircraft during the remainder of 2004 and into 2005 to expand its budget carrier Citilink.
The 12 Boeing 737 aircraft will be used to expand Citilink services in the west and central regions of Indonesia as competition from other low-cost carriers increases.
A spokesperson for the airline said that it expected to receive seven of the aircraft in 2004 and the remaining five in 2005, reports The Associated Press.
