Scandinavian Airlines Sweden to launch 7 new routes

Scandinavian airline SAS said on Monday (30 August) that its Swedish subsidiary Scandinavian Airlines Sweden was launching seven new direct services from Arlanda airport in Stockholm as of 31 October 2004.

The new destinations will be Nice, Athens, Istanbul, Rome, Stuttgart, Hamburg and Budapest.

At the same time the number of departures to Berlin would be increased, and a shuttle service would be introduced between Gothenburg and Copenhagen.

In conjunction with the winter traffic programme, Scandinavian Airlines Sweden would also be discontinuing the Stockholm-Karlstad route, the company added.
