A special task force at Indonesia's Soekarno-Hatta International Airport has prevented the smuggling of 300 grams of heroin, 23 grams of cocaine and 2,342 ecstasy pills through the airport over the last three months, officials have said.

During that period four suspects were arrested and other cases are still being investigated.

Smuggling drugs on domestic flights, rather than international flights, has increased in frequency, said the chief of the Indonesian National Narcotics Body.
