The first private airline in Kuwait is set for launch in February 2005.
The budget carrier al-Jazeera Airways will reportedly launch services with two leased Airbus A320-200 jets. The airline said that the aircraft are leased for 6-8 months.
When the two aircraft are returned in October next year, al-Jazeera is due to receive the first two of its ordered Airbus aircraft with the remaining two being delivered a year later. The airline also has the option to decide on a further four aircraft until 2008, Reuters reported.
