Members of the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA (AFA-CWA) are to hold informational picketing at Sea-Tac International Airport on Tuesday (14 December).

Between 0800 and 1100 (local time) flight attendants and labour supporters will have an informational picket line at the Sea-Tac Flag Pavilion, in front of Sea-Tac International Airport.

The aim, according to the union, is to focus attention on airline management's "assault" on flight attendants' pensions, health care and careers.

The informational picketing in Seattle is part of a national campaign calling for an end to practices that allow companies to use the bankruptcy process to remove employees' retirement security and health care, and to slash wages, AFA-CWA said.
