A vote by flight attendants at US Airways has reportedly shown strong support for engaging in strike-related activities if the bankrupt carrier wins court permission to cancel their contract.
The members of the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA were said to have voted "overwhelmingly" to authorize action, which is expected to take the form of intermittent strikes on flights.
US Airways has asked a bankruptcy court to allow the cancellation of its collective bargaining agreements with flight attendants and other workers that have not agreed to new concessions.
