TACA plans order for further 14 Airbus aircraft

TACA, a Central American airline, has said that it is to acquire a further 14 Airbus aircraft.
The airline has previously said it would acquire 12 aircraft. According to Airbus spokesman Clay McConnell the latest order from TACA is for four A319 aircraft, five A320s and five A321s.
No financial details of the order were disclosed, although the general list price for A319s is USD60m each, USD64m for A320s and USD74m apiece for A321 aircraft, Airbus said. Airlines generally receive volume discounts.
The 26 new aircraft are to be delivered to TACA between 2005 and 2009, reported The Associated Press.
