Indian Airlines has announced that it has launched a 24-hour helpline for passengers to help them keep up-to-date with flight disruptions caused by bad weather.

The helpline will run during December and January when weather conditions in India can deteriorate. The number can be accessed to find out up-to-date arrival and departure times for Indian Airlines flights across the country.

The airline has also requested that customers leave a contact number for all destinations on their itinerary when booking their tickets, reports Rediff.com.
