Record passenger traffic in Singapore

In November the daily passenger traffic volume at Singapore's Changi airport exceeded 100,000 for the first time.
The number was crossed three days in November, although the traditional peak season for air travel is December, said a statement issued by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) on 17 December.
The airport's passenger traffic rose to 2.71m in November, an increase of 12.8% from a year ago. The total passenger volume the airport handled in the first 11 months of this year increased to 27.4m, up 24.7% compared to the corresponding period of 2003.
The airport's airfreight volume in November increased by 3.8% over last year to 149,297 tons, reports Xinhua.
