Aer Lingus automates flight reservations

Irish national carrier Aer Lingus Airlines and Voxify, a creator of automated agents for call centres, have announced a deal whereby Voxify is to support the airline's telephone reservations.
The introduction of automated call service, including fare shopping, bookings, itinerary changes, seat assignments and reconfirmations, is a way to lower the cost structure, said an airline spokesperson.
No financial details were revealed.
