Irkut receives Airbus A320 parts contract

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2004 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
Irkut, a Russian defence company, has received a ten-year contract from European aircraft maker Airbus.
The contract, which has been valued at USD200m, will see Irkut supply Airbus with parts for its A320 aircraft model. Component manufacture is a new field for Irkut, Reuters reported.
