Frankfurt airport welcomes 2004's 50millionth passenger

Frankfurt Airport welcomed its 50 millionth passenger for 2004 yesterday (21 December), the first time that the German airport has topped the 50 million annual passenger figure.
The passenger, Ingelore Winkelmann-Sevastopoulos, arrived on the Lufthansa morning flight from San Francisco and was personally greeted by Fraport AG's executive board chairman Dr. Wilhelm Bender.
