SAS Flight Academy AB to open a new training centre in Latvia

SAS Flight Academy AB, part of the Scandinavian airline group SAS, said on Wednesday (22 December) that it would expand into the Baltic region by opening a new training centre in Riga, Latvia.
Initially, the centre would have one B737-300/400/500 full flight simulator with additional high technology training equipment, the company added.
SAS Flight Academy added that the region's key customer airBaltic is part of the SAS Group.
The centre would be opened in 2005.
