Hungarian privatization agency APV reportedly decided at its Wednesday (22 December) meeting to invite a new tender for the sale of national airline Malev, following an unsuccessful attempt in October.

The tender is expected to be announced soon, while the deadline for submitted bids is to be 28 February 2005, reports Interfax-Europe.

Under the terms of the tender, the purchase price will have to be paid at least 90% in cash, with a possibility to pay the remaining 10% in compensation vouchers. A total of 80% weight in the evaluation process is to be given to the complex financial offer, while a five-year business plan is to account for 20%.
