A flight operated by Turkey's MNG Airlines made an emergency landing in Istanbul on Friday (24 December).
The MD-82 aircraft was en route from the Turkish resort of Antalya to Hamburg, Germany, when it lost cabin pressure, according to a spokesman for Istanbul's Ataturk Airport. There were 159 passengers on board.
No serious injuries were reported but a number of passengers complained of ear aches and were treated at the airport by a doctor.
The reason for the loss of cabin pressure is not yet known.
Another aircraft was expected to be sent to Istanbul to allow the passengers to continue their journey.
