The number of travellers booking bus tickets for airport buses online is expected to increase after the booking systems Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre and Resaid transfer to a ticketless system for ground transports.
Swedish Flygbussarna has said that the company was first to introduce ticketless transports to and from air travel with the system NoTicket. According to the bus company, sales on the website have increased by a factor of five since NoTicket was launched. Travellers now only have to give a code when getting on the bus.
The new system reportedly means that travellers will be able to buy bus tickets at the same time as air tickets and also that they will be able to use the same code for the airline and Flygbussarna in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmo.
