Thai Airways will not purchase aircraft from United Airlines

Thai Airways will not purchase seven Boeing aircraft from United Airlines, according to the carrier's president.

The president, Kanok Abhiradee, revealed that the agreement with United Airlines to purchase seven Boeing 747-400 aircraft was off, but did not elaborate any further.

The airline is now said to be talking to several potential suppliers, including other airlines, to buy either used or new aircraft.
