PIA awards engine overhaul services contract to Pratt & Whitney

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2004 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
Pratt & Whitney has been awarded a 10-year fleet management programme from Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).
The agreement covers the airline's eight PW4152 engines which power four leased Airbus A310-300 aircraft, and spare parts. PIA will provide daily servicing and technical support of the engines, while Pratt & Whitney will provide overhaul services at its Eagle Services ASIA Pte Ltd Engine Center in Singapore.
Financial terms of the contract were not disclosed.
