AAR wins landing gear service contract from Vietnam Airlines

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2004 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
Vietnam Airlines has formed a landing gear service agreement with aftermarket support provider AAR.
Under the contract AAR Landing Gear Services will be the exclusive landing gear maintenance provider for Vietnam Airlines' fleet of Boeing 767 aircraft.
The company will conduct maintenance, repair and overhaul of the fleet's landing gear from its facility in Miami, Florida, and will also manage an inventory of just-in-time rotable spares for the aircraft.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
