AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2004 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD

The Secret Service is expected to share its travel plans with the US federal air marshal service to avoid placing the different officers on the same flight.

The sharing of information will allow the government to protect more flights that may be at risk of a terrorist attack.

Customs and immigration agents also coordinate schedules with the air marshals, with some customs and immigration agents trained as air marshals.
