Hong Kong-based carrier Cathay Pacific Airways is hoping to offer extra services to New Delhi, India.

The airline is hoping to expand its New Delhi service following talks between Hong Kong and Indian government officials later this month. A team led by Hong Kong's chief air services negotiator will meet with a group from India's civil aviation ministry in New Delhi on 16 February 2004. The discussions will reportedly last for two days.

Cathay Pacific currently operates four flights per week on the route, but is keen to operate a daily service, reported The Associated Press.
