A United Airlines flight reportedly skidded off a taxiway upon arrival at Kansas City International Airport due to snowfall of up to ten inches in the midwestern region.

Flight 5764 was carrying 29 people when the incident occurred, however no one was injured. It is currently unclear whether the weather conditions affected further air traffic in the region, however the closures of hundreds of schools and offices were reported.

Storm warnings were issued for parts of the south and much of the midwest, as well as Pennsylvania and western New York.
