SAS cuts 100 jobs within direct sales in Sweden

Scandinavian airline group SAS said on Thursday (15 January) that its would cut some 100 jobs within its direct sales centre operations in Sweden.
The jobs would be lost in connection with the closure of the SAS direct sales centre in Sundbyberg. Operations in Ornskoldsvik, Ostersund and Lulea will continue unchanged.
The reorganisation is expected to reduce costs by some SEK60m per year.
One Swedish krona (SEK) is worth approximately 0.08 British pounds (GBP).
